Job Description

Our client is a global implementation agency who provide content creation, marketing and production for some of the world's most iconic brands. They work across a wide range of high profile clients and currently looking for a Senior Designer/Lead to join their creative studio.


What you'll do:

  • Build, manage and develop a team of Designers
  • Develop the creative strategy - need to be hands-on
  • Create an environment where creativity flourishes
  • Help to elevate the voice of design in the company
  • Help the team build their design, presentation, and feedback skills
  • Build a rigorous, strong design culture and design process
  • Review design work, giving constructive and actionable feedback before it goes out the door
  • Assist clients in resolving issues by responding to questions in a timely and professional manner
  • Shape brand standards and create procedures to ensure all products are brand appropriate
  • Scoping timings and costs for projects
  • Help to identify and convert new opportunities, representing the company in pitches, contributing to business development


Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8-10+ yrs experience working in the advertising, marketing or design sectors
  • Hands-on with design work, willingness to roll up your sleeves
  • Stay up to date with new technologies, industry and design trends and demonstrate a passion for learning
  • Good understanding of moving images/online/digital/print/video/film projects
  • Ability to recruit, hire and retain multi-disciplinary design teams
  • Experience developing and managing a team
  • Experience balancing process and productivity with craft and creative explorations
  • Outstanding leadership and organization skills
  • Portfolio of previous work that displays an ability to turn an idea into a visual piece
  • Strong experience presenting and working with clients in order to communicate design in the most appropriate manner for different groups of people
  • You are able to define and improve design methodologies, tools and processes
  • Expertise in using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
