Our client is a Creative Agency based in London working with the largest film studios around the world specialising in the adaptation and localisation of theatrical campaigns across all media in multiple territories.

They have a great opportunity to join our global Client Services team as a Proofreader.

As a part of our team, you will handle all aspects of proofreading and QC across print and digital motion campaigns, liaising with both local territories and the head offices. This will involve proofreading/checking copy against supplied translations, checking the correct billing, socials and legal bugs have been used and placed correctly, checking artwork usage/specifications and that all contractual obligations have been observed and recorded in the artwork legend.

Day to day you will work side by side with our Project Management team and in-house Studio, providing support on various accounts and reporting to the Lead Senior Project Manager.

They require a confident and competent candidate who will face the challenges that accompany time differences and quick deadlines. Communication, organisation and accuracy are key to ensure that the production process runs smoothly, and deadlines are met while all legal requirements are adhered to.

The position will involve working across multiple projects at any one time. You will need to hit the ground running; learning to understand the requirements and rules of each film as well as individual territories.

The Role

  • Great eye for detail and quality control during the internal and external approval processes
  • Proven client facing skills are a must. We require a professional and friendly demeanour
  • Comfortable liaising with stakeholders of all levels with the ability of managing expectations
  • Ability to work under pressure within tight deadlines keeping a positive can-do attitude
  • A high standard of organisation whilst collating information, tracking projects & workloads
  • Good understanding of Excel spreadsheets and Google Sheets/Docs in addition to the other standard office software
  • Experience meeting deadlines and juggling multiple projects
  • Key attributes such as - approachable, helpful, good communication skills, organised, confident decision maker and forward thinker
  • A strong desire to learn and progress within the industry
  • Advantageous but not essential:
  • Print, Digital and film/entertainment experience
  • Experience working to international time zones
