Project Administrator
Reporting To: Managing Director
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm (30min lunch break)
Paying: Up to £28k - 2 years experience
 

Our client is a leading Contract Furniture specialist with over two decades working with leading design and hospitality
professionals, we have an instinctive understanding and enviable reputation of producing quality contract furniture.

They are a exciting stage of growth and have an opportunity for a driven Project Coordinator to join their friendly team. This a key position for someone looking to grow and develop this area of the business.

Main Objectives:

- Create and check POs against quotations, email them to suppliers
- Liaising with clients regarding company updates
- Excellent communication with clients
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and clients
- Request payment according to T&Cs (agreed with sales & director)
- Put order into sales hopper and create an electronic SO file
- Create PO matrix
- Negotiate best prices with our suppliers
- Chase suppliers for order confirmation
- Update white board with delivery dates (work backwards)
- Organise shipping from abroad to FF and consolidate deliveries
- Manage delivery to the client - including vehicles, labour,
delivery address, communicate delivery with the client
- Chase signed delivery notes - a must in unlike event of a dispute
- File completed SO and signed delivery notes

Responsibilities:

- Manage and purchase goods correctly and consolidate orders to help manage delivery costs
- Chase all suppliers for written confirmation on all orders
- Chase suppliers on a weekly basis to make sure orders are on track to meet our delivery dates
- Keep all reports up to date - weekly
- All deliveries/collections must be written on the delivery board
- Learn and understand the location of suppliers
