12 month contract
You will Reporting to the Head of Film Production you will be responsible for writing, producing and organising film shoots for in-store promotional films
Responsibilities-
Pre Production
- To research the product and come up with ideas for filming
- Research products
- Test the product, understand how it works and what problems that might need to be addressed whilst filming
- Voice ideas
- Create and manage budgets
- Research and draw up set ideas for the studio
- Contact Presenters and demonstrators and arrange dates for rehearsals and filming
- Book crew and equipment
- Liaise with any experts or stylists with all the details of the shoot, what they need to prepare and bring
- Book studio space
- Creating structure and order for the film
- Write scripts and chase for feedback
- Research locations suitable for filming
- Source models and check availability and rates. Confirm and finalise paper work and arrange costume requirements
- Fill out Risk assessments for all shoots
Filming
- Oversee the installation of the set and ensure everything is in place as discussed
- Prepare the products for the demos
- Brief the crew and talent on the product, who is doing what, the days schedule and introduce any new members
- Observe the monitors on script, demos, presenters and overall look and feel of the sections. Make sure the director hasn't missed any key shots.
Post Production
- File all of the release forms and paper work for the shoot.
- Send all invoices to accounts and mail out once cheques have been raised
- Sort through petty cash and credit card expenses
- Log all future invoices linked to a shoot and keep track of how much was spent
Experience-
- You will need to have have production experience in advertising or DRTV
- A friendly personality with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Able to prioritise, plan and organise many different tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Logging information using excel
- Possess an awareness of health and safety issues including any regulatory requirements
- Interest in DRTV
- Health and safety aware
- An understanding of and previous experience with Clearcast regulations would be preferable
