Job Description

Our client is an events agency speciialising in the travel sector who produce and deliver ground breaking creative solutions for their clients all over the world. They are looking for a creative and self motivated Integrated Designer to join the Communications team.

What you'll be doing:

  • Responsible for all creative output in the agency with involvement in the full process from development to execution, including preparing designs for print
  • Work across a range of projects with print and digital elements including printed collateral, event branding, pitch presentations, websites and apps
  • Receive, understand and challenge briefs so you can translate creative thinking into intelligent and appropriate designs, to meet client objectives and exceed expectations, whilst adhering to guidelines
  • Work strategically with Communications team to originate concepts for new and existing clients, with involvement in the new business proposal and PowerPoint creation process
  • Confidentially present and discuss concepts and design treatments with internal teams and clients

What you can bring to the team:

  • Experience working in a fast paced creative agency ideally in the event or incentive industries
  • Proficiency across Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Powerpoint and MacOS
  • Expertise across a multitude of design disciplines including branding, layout and conceptual design
  • A sense of originality and an eye for creative design whilst able to apply technical skills to a high standard
  • Aptitude to work independently alongside good teamworking skills to keep account managers aware of progress and be able to receive constructive feedback
  • A creative flair to capture the attention of the audience and clearly communicate intended messages
  • Excellent time management and communication skills to work on multiple projects concurrently and manage expectations effectively
  • Strong organisational skills to proactively manage your workload, within agreed timeframes to meet deadlines as well as reacting to changing requirements
  • Professional working style with excellent attention to detail in written and design work to ensure high quality work is always delivered
  • Understand budget and delivery constraints to produce impactful and viable solutions
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to invest in your own skills and the creative output we provide our clients

Added extras:

  • Digital experience or interest in digital/UX trends
  • WordPress or similar CMS design knowledge
  • A specific interest in graphics and typography
  • Video editing, animation and illustration experience
