Our client is a leading digital arts institution who support digital artists and collectors across the whole spectrum of the digital art world. They have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing & Communications Manager to join their team. They are based in London and offering flexi remote working.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced marketing & comms manager to join a highly creative team to manage our portfolio of products across all marketing channels, generating a community of advocates.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop content and directs creative execution to provide a consistent, targeted, and impactful message.
- Design marketing campaigns around digital art launches to target specific audiences, placing an emphasis and discipline on campaign performance to help with recommendations for future programs.
- Direct in-house and external motion/graphic designers, photographers, and other media-production specialists integral to the completion of marketing projects.
- Contribute ideas for new programs, researching and recommending innovative branding techniques.
- Researches and understands key business challenges, customer behaviour, target audiences, competitive activity, and environmental factors that impact programs within the business and assigned departments.
- Provide hands-on advertising support for assigned departments, paying close attention to timelines.
- Identifies and presents opportunities for consistency in messaging and customer experience across channels from social ads, broadcast to print.
- Develop an understanding of short- and long-term department goals and planned initiatives.
- Adjusts and communicates plan changes as necessary to ensure costs for materials, media, and labour are in line with the sales potential for a specific product or campaign.
- Works with leadership to take the pulse of overall business activity to identify cross-marketing opportunities.
- Stays informed of developments in the field of marketing and communications within the industry to foster ideas and innovation.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Strong, versatile copywriting skills
- Good organizational, planning, and coordination skills
- Ability to multi-task and re-prioritize as needed
- Desire to take full ownership of assigned projects and can work independently
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Possesses a sense of urgency; is self-motivated and detail-minded
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative relationships
- Good verbal presentation
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Degree in relevant field
- Minimum 3yrs of advertising or marketing experience
- Experience in building engaged online communities (i.e., on social media, on Discord or similar platforms)
- Demonstrated experience with all types of social media (e.g. Discord, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
- Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and web content management systems experience
- An interest in the arts an advantage
