Our client is a leading innovative logistics company. Their mission to be the first choice for people and businesses needing help looking after their things!! They have an exciting opportunity for a Junior digital designer with front end coding skills to join the creative team. Offices are in London and they are working 2 days in the office / 3 days remote.

About the role
We are looking for a highly motivated, self-starter to join our team in central London in the creative tech department as a digital designer / front end developer.

You will be creating digital ads, flyers etc. for marketing while working closely with the product team across UI designs.

The position will be heavily involved with the whole development life cycle from scoping, desigining to coding/testing the tech we produce for customers and partners, all while learning from our experienced development team.

Key responsibilities / Essential skills:
Own the consumer website, develop consumer/internal web/mobile applications, produce marketing design collateral and maintain the brand throughout.

You will have a great combination of design and technical development skills. We're looking for someone who is equally comfortable designing great UI as they are with graphic design.

Expertise using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is critical as well as the ability to create wireframes and UI designs to a high standard through collaboration with our Product team and stakeholders.

You must have some experience coding with JavaScript and producing professional­looking customer-facing UI.

You need to know HTML5, CSS3, RWD, and be at least familiar if not know the basics of Vue.js or a similar framework

Great skills to have:
We're a logistics based business which comes with constant and unique challenges that we solve with technology. As such, aptitude for new tools/frameworks and innovative problem-solving prowess will certainly help.

Technically knowing about RESTful AP ls will score you big points, as well as knowing about version control (specifically GIT) and deployments tools/processes are also useful, but by no means essentials.
