Job Description

Our client is a leading high st retailer. They are currently looking for a Head of Marketing to cover a 9-12 month maternity contract. You will focus on the development and implementation of the global marketing strategy for a leading fashion brand, developing the brand strength and market positioning both in the UK and internationally.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Works with the Marketing Director and Head of PR to determine key positioning and focus for the Brand in terms of its global marketing stance
  • Supports in development of, implements and maintains the strategic marketing plan for the Brand, ensuring that key elements of the brand strategy are incorporated and integrated
  • Works with Marketing Director and Creative Director to ensure that brand integrity is maintained and built upon through the right collaborations and innovative projects. To develop creative visual communication, ideas and graphics to support the Brand strategy
  • Supports the Head of E-Commerce in the future development and growth of their website and maximise the potential of digital marketing
  • Develops the brand and builds market position through new media channels as appropriate
  • Champions the customer and supports / has oversight the customer experience end to end
  • Lead and influence key stakeholders (buying, creative, ecommerce) within the Group to deliver fully integrated campaigns across all channels which are aligned to the brand's identity
  • Manages internal Group interfaces that support Brand marketing activity, including PR, Special Events, and Card Marketing, to ensure consistent Brand communication
  • Develops appropriate tactical marketing activity within the season
  • Consistently evaluates and monitors the impact of all marketing activity to ensure it is both relevant and cost effective
  • Upholds and promotes the brand essence in head office and all other areas of the business
  • Lead and develop the Marketing team, ensuring they understand and are bought into the brand strategy and vision
  • Plans and controls the Marketing budget
