We're looking for a Head of Creative to join a luxury home retail company based on the North London / Hertfordshire border. They have been established for over 10 decades and are at a very exciting time in their development. They are a business that prides itself on high quality products, excellent displays within store coupled with unsurpassed customer service.
As Head of Creative you will lead the creative development for this brand and be extremely hands on with the design process. You will instigate all creative ideas, get sign off by the senior management team and with the team, implement campaigns across all channels which include TV, radio, press, glossy magazines, company website, social channels, PR, instore displays, POS, brochures, buying guides etc. A large proportion of this work is actioned in-house, however third part agencies are used when required, i.e. TV and radio production. You should have an excellent mix of both print and digital skills.
As part of this process the Head of Creative will manage timelines of all the above, organise the photographic and all other content required to action the above activity.
The Head of Creative will have two direct reports that would help with the implementation of the above activity, therefore line management also is an important part of this role.
Key attributes / qualifications
Proven creative leadership and slick design skills
Excellent multidiscipline creative skill set
Currently in a creative / design role, either working for an advertising agency, integrated agency or with an in house creative team
A thorough understanding of creative processes and production
Ability to convert a concept into a working project
Ability to create and own multiple schedules at once
A good understanding of a retail client either working with or for a retail client previously, having previous experience of home retail would obviously be ideal
Experience working under pressure and to tight deadlines
Excellent MS Office skills
Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
