Role: Graphic Designer

Salary: Up to £31k
Our client is a creative marketing services agency that puts B2B and technology brands where they want to be. They are seeking a talented Midweight Creative Designer to join their creative team.
Overall role summary
- Support creative work for existing clients and new business
- Bring technical skills to the job, but be interested in conceptual approaches and use of cutting-edge technologies
- Have a working understanding of design and copywriting, with an awareness of UX and creative technologies
- Manage your work from brief to completion
- Operate with, and communicate effectively amongst, project management, tech and account management teams
- Pursue individual professional development
- Actively participate in creative culture
Role responsibilities
- Show the ability to understand the brief and project requirements, and develop appropriate design and creative solutions
- Plan your time effectively, in conjunction with senior team members, in order to meet deadlines
- Produce work to a consistently high creative standard; technically accurate and in accordance with given specifications and client brand guidelines
- Produce work that is grammatically accurate and free from errors, and ensure all appropriate internal and external approvals are obtained at each stage of project
- Keep abreast of current creative thinking; absorb and consider the relevance of new ideas and techniques
- Show your ability to present concepts and explain clearly the creative thinking and production processes involved, to the satisfaction of senior team members
Experience & skills
- Basic understanding of consumers, advertising and marketing principles and the B2B sector
- Curiosity about what makes a brand tick
- A high quality portfolio, relative to experience level
- A degree-level qualification or equivalent agency experience
- Creative flair and originality
- Passion and enthusiasm for producing outstanding creative work
- A strong visual sense and typographic capability
- Strong attention to detail (striving for perfection in execution)
- A strong desire to work-hard and succeed
- Easy-going and not too precious about your work
- Enthusiastic follower of graphic, web, social and technological trends
- Excellent skills using Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Skills using Adobe After Effects, Premiere and new digital applications such as Sketch would be advantageous
- Good team player
- Able to take direction well from senior members of the team
- Ability to present ideas with confidence
- Flexible, with the ability to multitask when required
