Job Description

Our client is an established retail brand with over 90+ stores in the UK. We are seeking a Graphic Designer to join their ever expanding and super talented creative and marketing studio. Offices are in London and they are working 3 days in the office 2 days remote.

THE ROLE
You'll be adding that 'je ne sais quoi' to our stores and website. You'll be designing OOH ads that stop shoppers in their tracks. You'll be doing all sorts of exciting tasks, from developing seasonal design concepts to managing full POS implementation from design through to print, and creating content for social media platforms.

We're looking for a talented and enthusiastic Graphic Designer who can work with the design team in the execution of all the design requirements across all digital and offline channels.

  • Develop the look and feel of all external and internal marketing campaigns and communications across all channels
  • Inspire, engage and motivate the creative team
  • Support with the end-to-end creative development within the design team.
  • Assist in the management of daily team tasks, with the ability to prioritise several projects at once.
  • Be the gatekeeper of design alignment and consistency for all the brand and promotional elements to ensure the customer journey remains seamless at all times
  • Work closely with the Senior Creative Services Manager to build design concepts and creative critical paths factoring in all necessary deadlines
  • Respond to briefs and pitch engaging and impactful creative proposals to the Marketing team, senior team and other stakeholders as required
  • Maintain a set of campaign brand guidelines that inform all stakeholders and external agencies of key creative, messaging and (if required) implementation of elements for each campaign, ensuring a cohesive and consistent look and feel, and simple yet effective implementation.
  • Contribute to Marketing planning and update meetings on how creative may/or may not have impacted
  • Gather research, create mood boards and help generate concept ideas alongside the Senior Creative Services Manager
  • Work on ad-hoc projects for the wider Retail Group
  • Have a good understanding and awareness of trends along with competitor benchmarking


WHO YOU ARE
You're brimming with ideas, you know what works in retail and you know what to do to make magic happen. You're a passionate, creative soul who works well with colleagues across multiple departments and you're determined to see your team shine. When it comes to your portfolio, it's full of both digital and offline design work that really packs a punch, as well as video, animation and illustration.

  • 2-4 yrs plus professional graphic design experience
  • Strong portfolio of work showing both digital and offline designs, presentations, artworking, banners, videos and animations.
  • Highly confident in Adobe Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop, Acrobat Professional. Premiere Pro would be advantageous. Knowledge of Google suite would also be beneficial.
  • You have an in-depth knowledge of the pre-production and print and digital process for large and small format requirements
  • You're able to adopt our brand aesthetic and guidelines with ease while always seeking out new and innovative ways of doing things and cascading these ideas to the team
  • You're able to explain best practices and translate them into actionable recommendations and creative ideas for the team
  • You have a self-starter attitude and you're able to deliver in a fast-paced retail environment. You'll understand the high street and love to shop.
  • You have a track record of making things happen - quickly and efficiently with a can-do attitude. You want to be part of a team who roll up their sleeves, divide and conquer and work collaboratively.
