Native French Freelance Marketing Writer needed - ASAP!
My client is a leading online fashion, beauty and lifestyle company. They are urgently seeking a freelance Marketing Writer with native French language skills.
You will be bilingual in English and French (both spoken and written)
You will be a native French Marketing copywriter
You will have editorial experience - ideally within a dot com or similar fashion business
You will be responsible for translating all marketing content, including emails, promotions and site navigation, from English into French, while still maintaining a strong editorial and commercial tone.
To translate English copy into French in a way that balances the need to remain faithful to the original content with creative flair - ultimately recreating the brands editorial voice in translation
Email marketing copy: Translating weekly customer emails, including designer- and trend-focused email campaigns
Promotions: Translating copy for all promotional activities, including banners, competitions, designer launches and seasonal campaigns
Site copy: Translating site navigation and customer-care policy documents
Printed projects: Translating printed marketing projects such as gift guides, seasonal guides and postcards
In the absence of the existing Fashion Writer, provide holiday cover by translating articles for the weekly online magazine
Ideal skills and requirements:
French mother tongue
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Experience of copywriting within the fashion or a related industry
Experience of translation
Knowledge of, or interest in, fashion and the luxury market
Ability to work to stringent deadlines
Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
