Our client is a leading sports and fin-tech betting company currently looking for an experienced CRM Email Marketing Manager to join a growing team in a vibrant office based on the Hertfordshire borders, just outside NW London. The role will be a mix of working from the office and working from home, with flexibility on the exact split.
The company is looking to recruit an experienced, hands-on CRM and Email Marketing Manager to support our small, skilled and agile marketing team. The successful candidate will be tasked with understanding the full customer lifecycles, channels, touchpoints and segments to develop and manage the CRM operational process and tooling - with particular focus on email marketing.
You will have a proven track record in delivering successful, integrated CRM campaigns (preferably Sports or Finance focused) using third-party systems, have a good understanding of customer segmentation and CRM related data to manage multi-level client interaction.
You will have strong working knowledge across multiple channels with particular focus on email, knowledge of CRM best practice, marketing technology and tools would be an advantage.
The role will require you to have excellent copywriting and design skills, a keen eye for detail and not afraid to be hands-on and get stuck-in when it comes to carrying out campaigns and making them work. You will have the ambition to work in a fast-paced, results-focussed environment and the bravery to try new things, learn from failures and have fun along the way.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As the CRM and Email Marketing Manager you will be responsible for managing the customer segmentation across the different product splits and improving conversion rates in terms of new client activation, reactivating lapsed clients, driving product cross-sell and up-sell and helping maximising overall bet value across the full range of offerings.
This will involve planning customer flows and message content at different points to a variety of specific audience sub-sets, testing the cost-effectiveness of different promotions and using learnings to optimise processes to improve results across multiple channels.
You will be responsible for ensuring full customer lifecycle flows are set up for each area of the business and choosing, managing and implementing the CRM and messaging system, with testing and tracking for full monitoring and evaluation to support those lifecycles. You will work with content writers and designers to create weekly and adhoc messaging campaigns, targeting potential customers directly or through our affiliate programme, as well as existing clients.
- 5+ yrs of experience working in a CRM role for a brand or agency.
- A data-focused and ROI-driven approach.
- Considerable experience working with CRM, data and martech solutions.
- Understanding of sports betting or financial markets a bonus.
