Our client is a London-based Communication agency that is looking for a Content Manager who is brimming with campaign ideas and has the know-how to bring them to life for big internal audiences.
They would love to hear from someone who is from an in-house or agency internal comms background, where you've dealt with a variety of stakeholders (including C-suite).
What this means day-to-day is that you'll be hands-on developing ideas, writing creative treatments, helping with live and virtual events, coordinating artwork through our studio and video with our shoot and edit partners.
The Comms & Content Manager role sits within the Brand & Communications team in the agency, where you will support mainly large corporate clients (including some big household names)
About the job
This role is specifically focused on building and delivering employee-facing campaigns, filled with multi-media content.
As our Comms & Content Manager, you will spend most of your time on these things:
Creative Comms & Campaigns
Working with our broader comms team, you'll develop great ideas to bring comms solutions to life in our unique Goldbug way. There is a constant requirement to find solutions and creative ideas across a full range of comms services, including campaign ideas, engagement initiatives, change programmes, copywriting and allround
content production, fit for multiple channels. As we, and most of our clients, continue to work in a hybrid way, there is an increased focus on digital, film and social content.
Presenting & Pitching
We pitch a lot and present work back to clients regularly. The Comms & ContentManager will play a part in the overall pitch process - bringing insights and ideas, contributing to pitch development content and when needed, presenting as part of the pitch team.
Working into the AD throughout the life cycle of projects, regular client contact is required for approvals and smooth delivery, so we're looking for a first-class communicator and planner. You will need to be comfortable managing deadlines (your own, the client's and your team/supplier's) and putting this all into a plan.
The ability to move between different client accounts, and different briefs, needs and outputs is part of the job. A flexible style that's comfortable working at pace on changing requirements is needed.
This role works alongside the planning team to make sure everything is delivered on time and on budget, and the Creative Studio, to brief design and creative production needs.
Solid experience, working in-house and/or at an internal comms-focused agency. You're probably a Comms Exec, IC Business Partner or Campaign Manager looking for a new role.
You'll be able to show clear examples of your experience in a creative/strategic environment and you'll have a strong view of what 'good' looks like. Have a strong portfolio of comms campaign work that you've taken from briefing to delivery.
You will have loads of experience designing and managing channels plans, including digital and social, alongside content management and briefing in production requirements.
As someone who'll be writing a lot, good copy skills are absolutely essential. And we're looking for someone who is great with people, very comfortable presenting work to colleagues and clients, can talk to us about solid planning experience and who is happy when working to deadline.
You're interested in brands, consumer trends and popular culture. This includes social media, digital services and the UK print media/news cycle. They don't specialise by sector so it's important that you proactively take the time to research any sector you're working in and immerse yourself into a client's business, whatever its size.
