Job Description

Our client is a leading strategic retail design agency, They work with clients globally to deliver innovative solutions for sales and shopper interaction. They are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team in London. They work with a variety brands ranging from beauty, electronics to FMCG within retail and travel retail environments.


Role Objectives:

  1. Build and maintain a network of potential clients
  2. Generate introductions and convert to new opportunities
  3. Manage sales and marketing methodology and strategy to maximise productivity


Role Requirements:

  1. Create a list of potential clients and maintain - community management
  2. Attend trade shows and relevant networking events to make introductions and build professional network
  3. Use LinkedIn and other networking tools to manage and maintain professional network
  4. Follow up all new business opportunities and set up meetings with qualified leads. Including cold calling, messaging and emailing prospective clients
  5. Build case studies and creds decks, utilising PR materials to provide appropriate collateral for community management and introductions.
  6. Attend and lead new business meetings with prospective clients
  7. Evaluate and lead strategic approach to new business development (strategic approach to target list and sales methodology)
  8. Oversee the development or marketing literature
  9. Identify areas of opportunity when interacting with potential clients to tailor our offering and maximise the chance of success
  10. Work with the wider team to ensure conversion from opportunity to live project is achieved. (i.e. facilitating creative pitch and/or commercial proposals)
  11. Manage the diary of key team members and ensure the correct people are attending meetings, fully prepared.
  12. Prepare reports and provide management team with feedback
  13. Meet and exceed all targets set by business
