BRAND DESIGN MANAGER (8 Month Maternity Cover)

An experienced Brand Design Manager is required by a leading High Street Fashion retailer based in London.

ROLE

  • You will be an integral part of Marketing and Creative team helping to develop design solutions which are compelling, memorable and on brand
  • Brand guardian and ensure brand guidelines are adhered to on all communications
  • Have an excellent understanding of design principle, whilst being creatively commercial in execution
  • Delivering a strategy for channels teams
  • Manage and mentor the graphic design team. Delegate and oversee design briefs across channels
  • Manage the Print Buyer and assist on ensuring all print deadlines are met
  • Manage own and the Company critical path, liaise across functions within the business
  • Manage upwards and manage the design workload across on and offline channels, ensuring that great design is at the forefront of all Brand Communications
  • Project Management from conception to execution
  • Work within budget and tight deadlines

SKILLS/EXERIENCE

  • Expert knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Excellent portfolio showcasing relevant experience ideally within a Fashion, Beauty or Lifestyle sector.
  • Ideally circa 6yrs experience in a similar role
  • Experience in managing or mentoring team members
  • High level of creativity, innovation and imagination
  • Can step back from project and look at the bigger picture
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present creative concepts to team and internal stakeholders
  • High energy and vision. Inspiring
