Automotive Design Engineer – Vehicle Architecture / Packaging
Warwickshire | £55-60k pro rata | 10-12‑month contract
We’re recruiting a Automotive Design Engineer for a major automotive brand, working within their EV engineering group across vehicle architecture, CAD layout and package development.
What you’ll do
- Develop early‑phase vehicle architecture and package layouts
- Support component and system packaging activities
- Resolve geometric issues across cross‑functional zones
- Work with engineering teams to balance design constraints
What you’ll need
- 2+ years in automotive integration/packaging or similar / transferable
- Solid CAD or equivalent experience
- Understanding of technicle vizualisation
- Strong communicator who can drive resolution between teams
