An established independent games publisher with a diverse catalogue of successful titles is expanding its in-house Creative Team. The studio collaborates with developers worldwide to deliver high-quality interactive entertainment and is recognised for supporting creatively driven projects across multiple platforms.
The Marketing Designer will join the internal Creative Team and contribute to the development of a wide range of marketing, branding, and promotional assets for upcoming and ongoing game releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Creative Director and Product Managers to produce engaging campaign materials.
- Take ownership of projects and deliver creative solutions that exceed expectations.
- Develop ideas from concept through to final execution, ensuring all work aligns with brand vision and project briefs.
- Produce marketing assets for games, including storefront banners, digital campaigns, social media creatives, logos, style guides, merchandise, and other supporting content.
- Follow established processes and use creative project management tools effectively.
- Balance resources and prioritise workloads to deliver projects efficiently, raising any issues that may impact timelines.
- Conduct thorough final checks to ensure accuracy and readiness of all deliverables.
- Create fresh, impactful content that pushes creative boundaries and enhances the studio's brand presence.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2+ years of design experience in an in-house team, agency, studio, or freelance environment. Experience within the games industry is essential.
- Strong passion for branding, marketing, and visual design, with the ability to take assets from initial concept to final production.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator is essential.
- Additional skills in animation, video editing, or 3D tools (e.g., Blender) are advantageous.
- A high-quality portfolio demonstrating polished marketing deliverables across diverse campaigns.
- Strong understanding of design briefs with excellent communication skills.
- Adaptable, proactive, and capable of working to shifting timelines.
- Able to work independently, manage workload effectively, and demonstrate structured, thoughtful working habits.
- Comfortable presenting work, receiving feedback, and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
- Curious, motivated, and committed to ongoing learning.
