Front End Developer Temp to perm 275 per day 40 - 45k perm
My Client has a vacancy for an experienced Web Developer to join their growing development team. This position is based in their London Office within the Digital Team, and requires an autonomous individual who is capable of working within a larger project team where you are the most senior Developer. You will be responsible for developing HTML, CSS, Flash and other technologies when required for everything from Flash Banners, email communications to micro-sites and websites. As a senior developer, you will also provide technical mentoring to junior members of the development team.
You will be a university graduate with 3-5 years experience in similar roles, and have previous Agency experience.
You will have the following skills already:
· Excellent hand-coding with HTML & CSS (fully standards compliant)
· Your code will be cross-Browser compatible (and email client compatible)
· Javascript/JQuery experience
· You'll know how to use Photoshop and associated programs for HTML or Flash development (potentially with some design related experience)
· Experience with Flash – ActionScript and Timeline for Banner campaigns, using Eyeblaster, Doubleclick, Mediamind and/or Flashtalking.
· Experience with SVN / Version control software (ability to set up and maintain)
· Wordpress CMS – to advanced level
It would be great if you also have some experience with:
· PHP/MySQL
· Air, Flex
· ASP.NET/MSSQL
· Knowledge Email Broadcast platforms an advantage (eg. Traction, Strongmail, Cheetahmail)
