This creative packaging company specialise in the project management and production of artwork and repro for packaging for major FMCG retail companies. The company are a progressive brand management company with a specialist team of pre-press and technical print liaison managers.
Role description:
Reporting to the on-site Account Manager, Project Managers will pro-actively manage client relationships and expectations within assigned business categories from project concept through to launch. This will involve activity planning and communicating critical paths with and on behalf of each category and managing these projects through all stages of product and graphics lifecycles, ensuring that each critical path step is being followed in order to achieve timely product launches. Project Managers will be expected to chair regular meetings with category and design managers and be capable of showing strong project leadership, providing clear communication and engaging stakeholders to provide swift resolutions to issues or concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
Candidates should have the following experience and skills:
Minimum of 2 years on-site experience managing product and/or graphics processes within a UK grocery retailer.
Experience of one or more of the following categories - Meal Solutions, Dairy, Bakery, Impulse, BWS, Health & Beauty.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Professional, presentable and confident manner in front of client with the ability to organise and chair key stakeholder meetings.
Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with client category and department management teams.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong team work ethic with ability to identify potential issues and work on own initiative to resolve.
