Multimedia Administrator (Multimedia, Video Production/Editing, Events)

Job Overview:
As part of the Event Management Team you will need to have a thorough understanding of the way an Event Management Team operates and the systems that are used. You will manage all multimedia production, first line trouble-shoot any media equipment or software issues and manage the video recording studio. Your role will be front of house and you will be the ambassador for the Event Management Team's multimedia services and capabilities. You will actively seek out opportunities to take the firm's multi-media capability to the next level.
    
Main tasks:
Day to day management of:
•    Scheduling, filming and post production of internal and client videos
•    Library of online content
•    First line trouble-shooting issues with multimedia software
•    Maintenance and upgrade of multimedia equipment
•    Development of multimedia offerings
•    Maintenance of media servers
•    Multimedia support for internal and external events
•    L+D intranet sites
•    Technical support for internal and external webinars
•    Support with maintenance of L+D intranet sites at non–London offices
•    Hands on support to EMT for large events (internal or external facing)
    
Skills needed:    
•    Multimedia Degree or equivalent
•    Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word packages
•    Experience in multimedia production
•    Excellent customer care and communication skills
•    Flexible, efficient, well organised and smart
•    Able to use own initiative, to prioritise and to work under pressure
•    Ability to be creative and drive forward opportunities for multimedia offerings
    
Desirable skills:    
Working knowledge of:
•    MS Producer
•    Adobe master collection CS5.5 (including Adobe Premiere Pro)
•    CMS 400
•    WebEx and/or GoToMeeting
•    Previous experience using HDV technology and lighting rigs
•    Experience in a L+D environment and/or training compliance environment
