Front end HTML Developer (HTML, CSS, W3C)
A leading London based agency is looking to recruit a front end website integrator to join an enthusiastic team dedicated to innovation. You will be working with a senior integrator and be part of a team of designers and developers integrating custom designs into an existing product framework.
You will need to have experience in either integrating designs onto existing CMS systems or creating websites using another language such as php or .NET and be very comfortable with turning PSD designs into fully CSS driven websites. You will also need to have good knowledge of W3C web standards and be very comfortable with cross browser testing, and use of cross browser code or hacks where necessary. An understanding of master-pages and user-controls would be beneficial as would experience in jquery.
You will be in an environment where there will be ample opportunity to learn a wide range of new skills from the other senior integrator, designers and developers. The company operates on a flat structure so your ideas in all aspects of the company and particularly in technical design and direction are encouraged.
Skills Required
• Strong CSS and XHTML
• Knowledge of W3C web standards
• Reasonable Photoshop skills
• Awareness of cross browser issues
Of benefit (but not essential)
• Experience creating sites in ASP.NET framework
• Comfortable using VS2008.
• Interest in usability issues
• Use of Ajax tools
• JavaScript and libraries such as JQuery
• Awareness of SEO issues
