PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
A leading global creative Ad agency requires an experience Flash Versioning Producer/Designer to work on projects for a large European based client.
The role will involve liaising with clients, to version/edit basic and complex flash banners to brief from templates supplied by creative agencies and do basic digital design work from time to time.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
Reporting into the Studio Head, the role is divided into two levels of responsibility.
- The Primary responsibility of the Producer will be taking master English creative assets (mainly flash banners) and versioning them within Flash into different languages and sizes for different markets globally. This includes liaising with producers from creative agencies to ensure the re-versioned creative stays within the guidelines supplied.
- The Secondary role will require you to liaise with selected creative agencies and build standard flash assets as well as rich media banners from scratch based on creative storyboards supplied using ActionScript. Unlike the role above, there will be a much bigger element of creativity required here, as the producer will be responsible for interpreting the storyboard and putting their own creative slant on the banners.
KEY KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED
- Flash (ActionScript)
- Photoshop
- Illustrator
- Final Cut Pro (non-essential)
- A second language or a strong understanding of languages is a must.
- The right candidate should be able to manage other freelancers.
- Good communicator and team player
- Minimum 2 years agency experience.
- Attention to detail is a must. As the producer will be working with assets in multiple languages, which can be tricky, so candidate must be very thorough.
- Candidate must be able to work to deadlines, and be able to cope with pressure.
