Due to tremendous growth our Leicestershire based client has an opening for a creative minded Direct Mail Estimator / Account Manager. The role holder will need to command this position and understand the implications of the role. The main focus is to estimate for short run, bespoke Direct Mail and hand fulfillment projects using their knowledge of the industry and logging this in the Tharstern MIS system.

The role:

·    To provide accurate competitive Project Specification & Quotation Documents on time and to clients specific requirements.
·    To maintain up to date knowledge of competitor companies, current market prices and competitor activity.
·    To provide clients with a proactive, efficient and reliable project management service, from initial point of enquiry through to completion of project.  
·    To ensure that the client receives value for money whilst maintaining an acceptable profit level for the business.  
·    To ensure that their clients requirements are met and exceeded where possible, and that the client is pleased with all aspects of the service, ensuring that they will continue to contract the companies Direct Mail Services for future projects and would recommend their services to others.

You will receive an initial enquiry from the client and obtain all relevant information required in order to produce a detailed Project Specification & Quotation Document.  

To regularly monitor outsource costs to ensure that clients are provided with competitively priced high quality products.

To provide the Direct Mail Data Processor with accurate information to enable all data processing, laser printing and inkjet printing requirements to be accurately produced to schedule.

Skills/Knowledge:
·    Thorough knowledge of Direct Mail industry procedures.
·    Thorough knowledge of Direct Mail services and processes.
·    Thorough understanding of Tharstern System.
·    Ability to prioritise work schedule to ensure client and colleague requirements are met.
·    Excellent written and oral communication skills.
·    Ability to sustain effective relationships.
·      Computer literacy.
·      Manage time constraints effectively.
