Overview
We're looking for a mid weight, digitally savvy Project Manager/Account Manager hybrid to be part of the growth of our dynamic and innovative digital agency. This individual will be responsible for the main client contact and production of a beauty account, covering social builds and campaigns, digital strategy work with our Planning team, and day-to-day account management
The Role/Responsibilities
Scoping / Project kick off
Taking client briefs, working closely with the creative and planning teams to
develop the brief. Briefing individual elements of a project to designers and
developers. Liaising with 3rd party individuals and companies to outsource
elements of a project. Creating scope of work documents, estimates and timing plans for projects. They must be able to work across multiple projects at any one time.

Delivering
Driving the delivery of a wide variety of projects from websites (small builds),
through to Facebook applications and video content. We require someone with good experience delivering digital marketing campaigns through social networks
(Facebook, Twitter).

The Project Manager will work with specialists in each area (Planners, Creatives, Marketing Managers) to finalise and deliver each element of a brief.

Client-handling
Project Managers will have a great deal of client contact. As such they must
be very personable and enjoy this side of project management. They will be
involved from the very start of projects, but will be particularly responsible for
guiding clients though the production process, writing status reports and
attending client meetings. They must be comfortable presenting work to clients, and know where to draw the line between being flexible to the client and protecting the agencies interests. They also must be comfortable managing a budget, reconciling costs and effort spent, and having an overall financial control on the account.

Key Skills/Experience
Experience in delivering / managing digital projects
Not all of this needs to have been spent specifically as a digital PM, but ideally at least 50% of it. Experience handling clients is a must, as well a good portfolio of wide-ranging digital projects successfully delivered on time and on budget.

Technical knowledge
They must have in depth technical knowledge that is bourn out of experience in delivering a multitude of different projects. We're looking for an understanding of technical languages, platforms, and what it takes to deliver technically led builds.
We're not looking for someone who has the skills of a developer, more the ability to understand technical development and be able to hold a client's hand through the
process.

Eye for detail
We're looking for someone has a keen eye for detail, and has the ability to be all over every single aspect of a project. They must understand each element on a campaign and be comfortable talking about each one. They must know about the different marketing spikes of a campaign, through to knowing what stage the
technical build is at and what platform we're delivering for.

Agency client-service experience
We're looking for a Project Manager with good agency pedigree. Someone who knows what it's like to deliver top notch projects for great clients, at award winning agencies, and can manage a client’s projects and account.

Culturally-aware
Our Project Managers
should be aware of wider communications/marketing trends and culture as a
whole, taking inspiration from it and being able to see where digital (whether for personal or commercial use) fits into the wider world.

Confident and articulate
Our Project Managers aren't locked away simply delivering projects. They
collaborate with all elements of the Agency to develop and deliver those ideas and - crucially - can articulate those ideas passionately and clearly in written and spoken form to clients.
