Designer / Artworker - £28-30K
Job description
A leading marketing agency is looking for a talented and proactive Designer / Artworker to work on a variety of predominantly off-line print communications.
This is a job for an experienced person who has worked in the design/advertising industry for a number of years. You will produce artwork and get involved in design for a variety of clients, products and Media, including print advertising, brochures, leaflets, stationery items, logo design, direct mail, posters, exhibitions, corporate communications and corporate identity.
An ability to take Art Director scamps to the next stage of Mac visuals will also be required.
The work demands attention to detail, creative flair, organisation, up-to-date knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to time keeping, costs and deadlines.
Typical work activities
- Thinking creatively to produce new design ideas to brief
- Producing colour Mac visuals and dummies
- Presenting design options
- Producing off-line print ready artwork
- Meeting creative directors or account managers to discuss the brief and deliverables
- Presenting work to the creative directors or account managers
- Estimating the time required to complete the work
- Proof reading and checking to produce accurate and high-quality work
- Managing and maintaining the creative department design and artwork files online
- Working as part of a team with copywriters, art directors, designers, web developers, online designers and creative services
