ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leading the unified process of marketing/concept/design and interactive/web/video motion graphics
  • Co-leading the unified creative/producer process to execute on client projects
  • Ensuring that the creative function operates in an efficient, profitable manner
  • Ensuring that creative products remains cutting edge and ahead of our competition
  • Ensuring high quality of creative and production is upheld, maintaining consistently high standards for him/herself and others on the team
  • Ensuring the professional development and readiness of the creative team
  • Collaborating and contributing to the creative process as a leader of a creative team, and as a member of the production team
  • Set expectations and standards (build a culture) for creative team attitude, behavior, teamwork and professional development. Lead accordingly
  • Direct the activities and professional development of creative team members
  • Managing art direction, design, copywriting

 

Desired Skills & Experience


QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS:

  • 5-10 years’ experience working as a Associate Creative/Art Director/Creative Director
  • You have experienced numerous times the full life-cycle of digital and print projects with budgets ranging from 30k-1m
  • Superior understanding of advertising and marketing principles
  • Thorough understanding of clients and their business/industry
  • Demonstrated talent for high-caliber creative concepting, and art direction
  • Master of Photoshop, illustrator, indesign, keynote or powerpoint
  • Excellent understanding of HTML, XML, CMS, Flash, Final Cut, Avid, After Effects, Maya, 3D Studio Max
  • Excellent presentation, communication and persuasion skills both verbal and written
  • Excellence in managing and motivating staff
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills
  • Superior problem solving and decision-making skills
  • A degree level qualification is an advantage but not a requirement

TASKS PERFORMED:

  • Writing and presenting cohesive and persuasive rationales for campaign approaches
  • Manage the creative team from concept to completion
  • Judge creative concepts, and clearly communicate creative direction to others
  • Delivering strategic communication solutions that help clients attain their  marketing and communications objectives
  • With the producer, assure that internal and client presentations are on time, professional, engaging, persuasive and supported by a sound rationale
  • Creative output with oversight of creative and creative process
  • Listening, asking, hearing, prioritizing and translating client situation, marketing goals and information into strategic brand concepts, voice, messages and rationales.
